After finishing her degree in fine art Sarah decided that her true vocation was working with marginalised groups and so she embarked on a teaching career, which included working with Roma Gypsies and Irish Travellers. She continued to make art whilst working and raising a family, exhibiting in cafes, art fairs and contemporary galleries.
Sarah’s latest art project are pendants, which start life as a painting and are made into acrylic pendants by an English company. She paints on especially deep box canvases from memory and observation, and colour is often the starting point. Layering paint, scratching, printing and stencilling are all part of the painting process -a bit of gold/ silver leaf or collage creeps in now and again.
She has recently become an art psychotherapist and proud and excited to be one of Humanitas featured artists. "
